Regional Account Manager
Location - South East Region (Remote working and field)
£45-65K + bonus + car (package dependent on experience)
Our client is a growing business who, design and manufacture products for the retail sector. With a mix of white label and licensed products they have recently expanded into a number of new market places and are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong business development skills to further develop the South East region.
You will collaborate with marketing teams to influence trade plans, work with supply chain and product development teams, and manage projects to tight deadlines. The role involves developing strategic, long-term partnerships with key retailers to maximize sales while maintaining the brand's credentials. The ideal candidate will be organized, commercially minded, and driven to meet sales and profit targets.
Main responsibilities:
- Drive sales and profit across key the South East region, managing 250 product lines including having P&L responsibility.
- Development and implementation of strategic and commercial plans for the region and by key retailer to allow for desired growth.
- Reporting on sales performance, forecasting and development of stretched plans.
- Build strong relationships with accounts to maximise business growth and opportunities.
- Work with the rest of the sales team to explore and capitalise on opportunities and drive efficiencies.
The ideal person will be:
- 5 years' + experience in an account management / business development in Homeware, gifts or outdoor products
- Experience building commercially sound product ranges, specific to retailer needs
- High attention to detail managing complex negotiations with high number of variables
- Strong commercial & analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities to drive long term profitability.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding business results and exceeding targets.
- Entrepreneurial flair with excellent negotiation, presentation and influencing skills
