Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

They are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team in September. The Role:
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will help guide children through their transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1. You’ll deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence, while supporting every child to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the KS1 national curriculum

Support pupils as they build upon early literacy and numeracy skills

Foster a nurturing, positive classroom environment with clear routines and expectations

Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and inform planning

Communicate regularly with parents and carers to support home learning

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school improvement

Take part in school events, CPD, and enrichment activities
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience in KS1 or EYFS (Year 1 experience desirable but not essential)

Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and early phonics development

A caring, proactive approach to classroom teaching and behaviour management

Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset

Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
