HGV Class 1 Driver required in Hemel Hempstead- 17 to 25.50ph

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for Class 1 drivers doing wag and drag work in Hemel Hempstead on a temp-perm basis.

HGV Class 1 Driver pay rates:

17ph Monday to Thursday
24.68ph Sundays
25.50ph after 50 hours

Your hourly pay rate is 17 and you will accrue 2.05 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

This job will involve wagon and drag work that will be from the main distribution centre delivering to other depots in the network.

Shift start times they need covering are.

Between 16:00 and 19:00.

Drivers will need a minimum of 6 months wagon and drag experience.

Shift pattern will be Sunday to Thursday each week.

Our client is looking for a candidate that can not only drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle successfully but that can communicate well with the transport team to ensure that all deliveries / collections are completed this includes a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.

Digital tachograph card
Clean Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT MS DR DD codes)
6 months experience is required due to insurance
