Promotions Supply Planner - Fixed Term Contract

• Working Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Hybrid

Join our client’s dynamic Supply Chain team as a Promotions Supply Planner on a 14-month fixed-term contract. This role is crucial for managing the end-to-end planning and flow of stock for promotional activities, ensuring maximum availability and adherence to critical timelines. Based in Hemel Hempstead, with the option for hybrid working, this position offers a great opportunity to enhance your planning skills in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Ensure maximum stock availability for the start and duration of promotional events.
• Adhere to critical timelines and escalate issues appropriately.
• Manage the flow of stock from distribution centres to branches and customers.
• Ensure accurate loading and release of allocations.
• Analyse data to produce reports and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Address queries and requests promptly, supporting seasonal events and clearance of ex-promotion lines.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage trading activities effectively.
• Comply with relevant GSCOP timelines and maintain high standards of conduct.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Keen attention to detail with a capability in report writing and data interpretation.
• Flexibility in work approach and eagerness to learn new technical skills.
• Experience in the FMCG sector is ideal but not essential.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
