A leading national plant hire provider is seeking a Key Accounts Hire Controller to join a high-performing team that supports key infrastructure clients, This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building customer relationships, and wants to be part of a passionate, collaborative team that makes a real impact.
The Role:As a Key Accounts Hire Controller, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-tier service to high-value clients. Your day-to-day will include:Managing incoming hire enquiries from key clients and large-scale infrastructure projectsOffering expert advice on plant and equipment availability, suggesting alternatives where neededPreparing accurate quotations using the Syrinx hire systemResolving all customer queries promptly – within 24 hoursLiaising closely with internal departments including logistics, recruitment, sales, and credit controlOccasionally attending customer sites to understand projects and strengthen relationships
What We're Looking For:A team player with a “can-do” attitude and a customer-first approachPassionate about delivering exceptional service and doing things right the first timeExcellent communication skills – both written and verbalHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsA self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environmentStrong IT and admin skills – experience with Syrinx is ideal, but not essentialPrevious experience in a hire desk, customer service or coordination role is beneficial
