Supply Desk is currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hemel Hempstead. This full-time position begins either May half term or September, depending on the successful candidate’s availability. The role involves teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence and student engagement.

Job Description:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3–KS5
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress to support achievement
- Contribute to the development of schemes of work and the Maths curriculum
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with the Maths department and wider school team
- Participate in school events, CPD sessions, and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Maths at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
- Be passionate about Maths and committed to raising achievement
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Be flexible, proactive, and a strong team player
- Hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one
