Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long Term

A successful secondary school in Hemel Hempstead is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher from September. Known for its strong academic record and supportive culture, the school is committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear, structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Support students in building confidence with numbers and problem-solving

• Monitor progress through regular assessment and feedback

• Contribute to the development of Maths resources and curriculum planning

• Create an inclusive classroom that promotes positive learning behaviours

• Take part in CPD, team meetings, and wider school activities

What We’re Looking For:

• QTS or equivalent (preferred)

• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education

• Confident classroom presence and effective behaviour management

• A positive, reflective approach to teaching and learning

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
