Overview:

Unify are delighted to be recruiting for a Service Depot Manager to be based from Hemel Hempstead. You will be joining a leading provider of Plant Hire, Transport and Haulage service throughout the UK who are currently undergoing remarkable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of Health & Safety compliance, identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Oversee servicing and repairs of plant hire equipment, ensuring fleet availability.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of workshop fitters.
  • Manage the weekly purchase order report, monitoring depot spending and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, transparency, and high performance.
  • Set an example by upholding company values and encouraging others to do the same.
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks and identify areas for staff training and development.
  • Process timesheets and provide support to the wider admin team.
  • Ensure all training is scheduled, completed, and accurately recorded.
  • Build strong relationships with OEMs to foster productive partnerships.

The following is required:

  • NVQ Level 3 Plant qualified
  • Experience within a management position
  • Knowledge of Excel
