About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to join our inclusive primary school. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children with special educational needs, delivering tailored lessons to support their academic and social development. You will collaborate with the SENDCo, teaching assistants, and other professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and inspire children with special educational needs, delivering the curriculum in a way that meets their individual needs.
• Develop creative and engaging lesson plans, incorporating differentiated learning activities.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing tailored support and interventions.
• Foster a caring, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment for all learners.
• Work closely with the SENDCo, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for SEND pupils.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs in a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of SEND frameworks, strategies, and interventions.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of learners.
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
