Technical Sales Engineer opportunity available with our client, a specialist in the design, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of pumped drainage and wastewater systems across the UK, with OTE earnings of up to 39k and based out of their offices in Hemel Hempstead.

This role is ideal for anyone currently working within a technical sales or administration role within the engineering sector, in particular with any experience/exposure of pump systems, plumbing, drainage, or heating systems.

Technical Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities

Receiving customer enquiries and converting these into specifications and quotes that are suitable to the client's needs
Completing full quotations and chasing these with clients
Recording sales orders with the relevant internal teams
Raising purchase orders and invoices
Following up with clients after successful sales to ensure a positive customer experience
Participating in an out of hours rota occasionally for technical support

Technical Sales Engineer Job Requirements

Sales and/or administration background within the engineering sector
Any experience within the water sector such as pumps, plumbing, drainage, or heating is highly desirable
Ideally holding a Mechanical or Electrical degree
Based within a commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Strong I.T competency, including Microsoft Office, with any experience using a CRM system desirable

Technical Sales Engineer Salary & Benefits

Basic salary 32,000 - 35,000, depending on experience
Bonus ranging from 2k - 4k per annum
