A leading national plant hire provider is seeking a Key Accounts Hire Controller to join a high-performing team that supports key infrastructure clients, This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building customer relationships, and wants to be part of a passionate, collaborative team that makes a real impact.


The Role:
As a Key Accounts Hire Controller, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-tier service to high-value clients. Your day-to-day will include:
路Managing incoming hire enquiries from key clients and large-scale infrastructure projects
路Offering expert advice on plant and equipment availability, suggesting alternatives where needed
路Preparing accurate quotations using the Syrinx hire system
路Resolving all customer queries promptly - within 24 hours
路Liaising closely with internal departments including logistics, recruitment, sales, and credit control
路Occasionally attending customer sites to understand projects and strengthen relationships


聽What We're Looking For:
路A team player with a "can-do" attitude and a customer-first approach
路Passionate about delivering exceptional service and doing things right the first time
路Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
路High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
路A self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment
路Strong IT and admin skills - experience with Syrinx is ideal, but not essential
路Previous experience in a hire desk, customer service or coordination role is beneficial
