Astute's Power Team is partnering with a leading Power Company to recruit a Project Manager working at it's CCGT plant in Plymouth.

Responsibilities and duties of the Project Manager role
As the Project Manager you will:
* Overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning to completion.
* Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
* Ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
* Be an expert in the administration of all contracts utilising the support of EP colleagues.
* Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
* Manage risks and implement mitigation strategies.
* Deliver innovative technical solutions.
* Manage multiple stakeholders with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Management of Commissioning activities including optimisation of program resulting in lean commissioning periods.
* Co-ordinate with the O&M Team of the facility ensuring that the Asset seamlessly transfers to Operations on completion of the Project.
* Work in accordance with the Industry Best Practice to ensure successful, cost focussed and on-schedule delivery.
* Drive the development of the quality programmes and procedures and implement effectively.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Degree qualified in relevant discipline essential
* Relevant Management qualification essential
* Experience working on FIDIC and MF1 contracts
* Experience working in power generation sector on lifetime extension projects highly beneficial
* Experience managing large-scale projects, ideally with value of 50m - 500m

* Able to be on site full-time, in Plymouth.
