HR Advisor – 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract

What You Will Do:

Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers, ensuring the early resolution of complex and sensitive employee relations issues.

Support managers in applying HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and UK employment law.

Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from developing job descriptions to coordinating interviews and managing offers.

Oversee sickness absence management, collaborating with managers to reduce absence levels and support employees back to work.

Partner with recruitment agencies and other sourcing methods to attract top talent for both the Gloucester and Manchester sites.

Assist in the management of disciplinary, grievance, and sickness absence cases, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
What You Will Bring:

Proven experience in a HR Officer or HR Advisor role within a fast-paced environment.

Comprehensive knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.

Demonstrable experience managing a variety of employee relations cases with a balanced and objective approach.

Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate management.

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and travel between sites.
