Our client is a leading building contractor based in Henley, delivering a wide range of projects including large commercial and high-end domestic new-builds, through to landmark & listed properties. They are looking for a Skilled Trade Operative to join their growing team, having recently secured a number of new projects.

This is a unique opportunity to receive first-class training and gain new skills in a specialist field. You'll also have the opportunity to develop a career pathway to become a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Surveyor or Lead Operative in the future. The company will support you in studying towards attaining relevant industry qualifications.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work alongside a tight-knit team of highly-skilled professionals installing specialist structural waterproofing systems across a wide variety of sites, with high-profile projects across the Thames Valley, including London and the surrounding counties. Every site brings something new, so you’ll need to be adaptable, proactive, and ready to roll up your sleeves.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience on construction sites
  • Basic skills in one of the following: Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing, General Building or similar Trade
  • A keen eye for quality and attention to detail
  • Reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic about learning
  • Strong communication skills and good spoken English
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)
  • CSCS card and H&S awareness (strongly preferred)
  • Must be willing to travel and undergo a DBS check
