Role Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio including SMEs, partnerships, and sole traders
  • Review year-end statutory accounts for Partner sign-off
  • Review corporation tax computations and VAT returns under all VAT schemes
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly management accounts prepared by the team
  • Lead client onboarding and manage ongoing relationships with professionalism and care
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on technical and compliance matters
  • Train, mentor, and help manage the workflow of junior team members
  • Support Partners with ad-hoc assignments and internal projects
  • Deliver consistently high levels of client service and communication

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with 2-3 years post-qualification experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ practice experience in audit and accounts
  • In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Experience using CCH, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and Alphatax (training available if needed)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and manage client relationships
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • A team player who is self-motivated, dependable, and results-driven
