- Providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
- Preparing and presenting clear, accurate financial reports.
- Ensuring alignment between financial control and operational performance.
- Developing strategies and policies to optimise the Financial Controls function.
- A full accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in leading and developing finance teams.
- Confidence in managing complex financial operations, including cashflow and payroll.
- The ability to clearly explain financial information to colleagues at all levels, both financial and non-financial.
- A strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and time management.
- A proactive approach to improving systems and reporting processes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK financial regulations and best practices.
- Experience with change management and implementing new systems (desirable but not essential).
- Salary between £50,000 and £60,000 per year, depending on experience.
