A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Hereford Area!
With no day ever being the same the Senior Quality Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Supervising a team of 5 quality individuals - appraisals, 1to1s, disciplinaries
- Supporting New Product Introduction identifying suitability of products against customer specification
- Introduction and management of 5S in the main areas of the business
- Building and managing customer relationships as well as relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Participating in management meetings and ensuring KPI targets and CI goals are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- ISO accreditation and QMS management experience
- Understanding of six sigma tools to problem solve
- Experience completing internal audits in line with ISO9001 and ISO13485
- Supervisory experience - highly desirable
