Responsibilities
  • Provide support to a staff team and deliver quality services for vulnerable adults.
  • Ensure a person-centred, strength-based, and risk-appropriate approach in decision-making at all levels.
  • Influence system-wide cultural change and work towards a joined-up approach to operational services.
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategy in key areas of practice.
  • Form strong and influential relationships across the system to deliver value for money services.
  • Improve outcomes while managing risk appropriately.
Person Specification
  • Full-time, enthusiastic professional with a commitment to making a difference in people’s lives.
  • Accomplished communicator and respected leader, skilled at creating a shared vision and culture.
  • Experienced social work manager or practitioner with substantial experience in statutory social work.
  • Proven track record of excellent practice and the ability to apply learning to practice.
  • Ability to inspire colleagues and partner agencies with innovative, best practice approaches.
  • Capable of working office-based 2 days a week.
