Responsibilities
- Provide support to a staff team and deliver quality services for vulnerable adults.
- Ensure a person-centred, strength-based, and risk-appropriate approach in decision-making at all levels.
- Influence system-wide cultural change and work towards a joined-up approach to operational services.
- Lead the development and implementation of strategy in key areas of practice.
- Form strong and influential relationships across the system to deliver value for money services.
- Improve outcomes while managing risk appropriately.
- Full-time, enthusiastic professional with a commitment to making a difference in people’s lives.
- Accomplished communicator and respected leader, skilled at creating a shared vision and culture.
- Experienced social work manager or practitioner with substantial experience in statutory social work.
- Proven track record of excellent practice and the ability to apply learning to practice.
- Ability to inspire colleagues and partner agencies with innovative, best practice approaches.
- Capable of working office-based 2 days a week.
