This is a job for a very IT/tech savvy chef or ex chef with a leaning towards administration and control measures. You might have done your time in busy kitchens and are looking to do something different but still in hospitality.

My client is an extremely busy and expanding multi-site business and they need a more robust approach to managing stock, wastage, forecasting, par levels, kitchen administration and general control systems.

KITCHEN STOCK MANAGER - skills required

  • Current or previous experience as a head/sous chef or kitchen manager in high volume branded high street/quick service restaurants
  • Strong financial knowledge - GP, cost, budget, labour controls
  • Very strong stock, wastage, par level management skills
  • A passion for/leaning towards kitchen administration and detail
  • Excellent IT, systems & procedures and technical skills

KITCHEN STOCK MANAGER - job role

  • Manage all kitchen administration in an office based capacity
  • Order and control stock and carry out regular stock takes
  • Forecast sales and manage kitchen invoices
  • Analyse previous sales data to manage and set kitchen par levels
  • Ensure all compliance, legislation and company systems & procedures are adhered to
  • Work closely with the head chef and GM
