Cleaning Technician - Hereford
Are you reliable, hardworking, and take pride in maintaining clean and safe environments? We're looking for a Cleaning Technician to join our client's Estates and Services Team in Hereford.
Key Details:
* Location: Hereford
* Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
* Start Date: ASAP
* Pay: 12.94 per hour (weekly pay)
* Hours:
o Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 3:30pm
o Friday: 7:30am - 3:00pm
o 30-minute break daily
o 37 paid hours per week
* Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence is essential
Role Responsibilities:
* Maintain cleanliness of internal and external communal areas
* Carry out cleaning duties including litter removal, graffiti cleaning, and block inspections
* Use various cleaning methods: mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, buffing, and more
* Conduct compliance checks (e.g. fire alarms, emergency lights)
* Report repairs and hazards
* Clean offices, sheltered housing, and communal spaces
* Drive a company van when required
What We're Looking For:
* Previous cleaning experience
* Ability to meet cleaning standards and follow instructions
* Basic Health & Safety knowledge in a cleaning environment
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to work in unpleasant conditions
* Basic DBS check required
