What's the Job?

As Grower Supervisor, you'll work closely with the team to make sure crops are healthy, productive, and delivered on time. It's a hands-on role with lots of variety - a perfect opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and gain people management experience.

You'll be involved in:

  • Monitoring soft fruit crop growth, quality, pests, and diseases
  • Helping plan and deliver crop husbandry tasks throughout the season.
  • Supporting with irrigation, fertigation, and climate control (PRIVA systems)
  • Assisting in soft fruit crop forecasting and reporting
  • Learning how to manage biological control programmes and spray schedules.
  • Supervising the growing team day-to-day, ensuring work is carried out to the right standard.
  • Keeping accurate crop and input records for audits and traceability

What You'll Need

  • Experience working in commercial soft fruit production.
  • An understanding of crop husbandry, irrigation, or pest/disease management
  • You'll already have your PA1 and PA6. It'd be great if you have your FACTS or BASIS, but not essential.
  • Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a drive to progress into a more senior grower role
