This is a challenging yet rewarding role for a compassionate professional committed to protecting vulnerable adults.About the Role:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, identifying needs and developing person-centered support plans.
- Undertake thorough safeguarding investigations, liaising with multi-agency partners and ensuring timely interventions.
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to coordinate care and support.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment committed to best practice.
- Manage a caseload effectively, prioritising urgent needs and ensuring timely responses.
Requirements:
- Registered with Social Care England.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Experience in adult safeguarding is highly desirable.
- Excellent assessment, investigation, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy relating to adult safeguarding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to ethical practice and person-centered approaches.
