The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day HR support and managing payroll operations. This includes advising employees on HR matters, coordinating recruitment activities, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. The role also involves contributing to health & safety initiatives, promoting environmental practices, and supporting continuous improvement across HR processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Advise employees on HR-related queries and policies
  • Administer interview confirmations and recruitment logistics
  • Provide general administrative support across people-related initiatives, including the coordination of company-wide events and social activities to foster employee engagement and team culture.
  • Recommend improvements to HR processes and operational efficiency
  • Promote safe working practices and report hazards as required
  • Support environmental initiatives including recycling and waste management
  • Champion customer focus and uphold brand values
  • Maintain and update HR systems and employee records
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Liaise with finance and external providers to ensure accurate payroll submissions
  • Resolve payroll queries and support employees with pay-related concerns


Skills required

  • 3+ years' experience in HR and payroll
  • Empathetic and resilient, with excellent interpersonal skills


Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with HR systems
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
