Export Coordinator

We are looking for an organised and detail-focusedExport Coordinatorto manage the movement of goods to customers worldwide. This is a hands-on role covering the full export process, ensuring shipments are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.

The Role

  • Oversee the full export cycle across air, sea, and road freight, ensuring all activity meets relevant trade regulations
  • Prepare and check shipping paperwork, including customs entries, commercial documents, and certificates for multiple global markets
  • Maintain accurate application of Incoterms and advise colleagues on correct usage
  • Monitor freight-forwarder performance and work with them to achieve agreed service levels and cost efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with post-Brexit EU import/export processes as well as other international market requirements
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any transport or customs issues quickly
  • Keep up to date with changes in trade legislation and adjust processes accordingly

About You

  • Experience in international trade, export operations, or customs compliance
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and trade regulations, including EU customs procedures
  • Confident communicator able to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities
  • Proficient in using ERP systems and shipping platforms
