We are looking for an organised and detail-focusedExport Coordinatorto manage the movement of goods to customers worldwide. This is a hands-on role covering the full export process, ensuring shipments are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
The Role
- Oversee the full export cycle across air, sea, and road freight, ensuring all activity meets relevant trade regulations
- Prepare and check shipping paperwork, including customs entries, commercial documents, and certificates for multiple global markets
- Maintain accurate application of Incoterms and advise colleagues on correct usage
- Monitor freight-forwarder performance and work with them to achieve agreed service levels and cost efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with post-Brexit EU import/export processes as well as other international market requirements
- Work closely with internal teams to coordinate shipping schedules and resolve any transport or customs issues quickly
- Keep up to date with changes in trade legislation and adjust processes accordingly
About You
- Experience in international trade, export operations, or customs compliance
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and trade regulations, including EU customs procedures
- Confident communicator able to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities
- Proficient in using ERP systems and shipping platforms
