RC Fornax, a veteran-owned engineering consultancy supporting the aerospace and defence industries, is looking for a Mechatronics to support Required to support the development of various antenna subsystems and components as they approach prototype and production stage. You will play a key role in the development and production of antenna subsystems and components, ensuring design integration and performance throughout prototype and production stages.

Contract - Outside IR35

Work pattern- Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support mechatronic design activities for antenna subsystems and components.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems effectively.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams, ensuring smooth transition from prototype to full production.
  • Conduct design validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide engineering recommendations for product improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Hands-on experience with antenna or RF systems (essential).
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and control systems design
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
