Key Info:
The Adult Neurodiversity Team is an exciting new and developing team, consisting of social workers, social care workers and a housing officer. The team is supported by an Advanced Social work Practitioner and team manager. The team works with adults who have autism, ADHD, Learning difficulties and other associated conditions. We work under a strength based model to create personalised care plans which promote the independence, choice and well being of the individual. We are seeking 2 x experienced social workers who have experience of working with people who are neurodivergent and their families. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessments, reviews, capacity assessments and safeguarding.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- a current and valid Social Work England registration and pin
- experience working within adults neurodiversity teams
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- access to a car for community/home visits
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position requires availability from Monday - Friday with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 to 6 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
