This is a challenging yet rewarding role for a compassionate professional committed to protecting vulnerable adults.About the Role:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, identifying needs and developing person-centered support plans.
  • Undertake thorough safeguarding investigations, liaising with multi-agency partners and ensuring timely interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to coordinate care and support.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment committed to best practice.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, prioritising urgent needs and ensuring timely responses.

Requirements:

  • Registered with Social Care England.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Experience in adult safeguarding is highly desirable.
  • Excellent assessment, investigation, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policy relating to adult safeguarding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and person-centered approaches.
