Right now, their Maths Department is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who can bring the subject to life and help students see maths not just as something they have to learn, but something they can genuinely enjoy.
What You’ll Be Doing:-
Planning and delivering engaging maths lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4

Tailoring lessons to meet the needs of all learners and learning styles

Creating a positive classroom atmosphere where students feel confident to participate

Setting and marking homework, providing meaningful feedback

Managing behaviour in a respectful and supportive way

Helping prepare students for GCSE exams with focused revision sessions

Contributing to curriculum development and resource creation

Collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards and share best practices

Tracking student progress and communicating with parents and leadership

Taking part in school life, from staff meetings to extracurricular activities

A genuine love for maths and a desire to inspire young people

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Some experience with classroom tech (interactive whiteboards, maths software, etc.) is a bonus

A growth mindset and commitment to professional development

An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
