Supply Teacher - Herne Bay & Whitstable
Academics is currently seeking dynamic and passionate educators to join our team as Secondary Supply Teachers. This position is for immediate placement in the Herne Bay and Whitstable areas. As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in various local secondary schools, providing cover for absent teachers and supporting the educational development of students.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality learning experiences across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Following established lesson plans and adapting them to meet the needs of individual students.
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
- Managing student behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and disciplined learning environment.
- Supporting students with their academic and personal development as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but not essential.
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
- Good knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
- A willingness to learn and grow as an educator.
