About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to oversee the catering service in a care setting. You will be responsible for ensuring residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet a wide variety of dietary needs, while managing the kitchen team and resources effectively.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership and organisational skills who is committed to providing excellent service in a supportive and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide homely, nutritious meals that cater to diverse dietary requirements.

  • Plan and manage staff rotas to ensure appropriate kitchen cover.

  • Organise and oversee all aspects of catering operations, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

  • Ensure statutory training is completed for catering staff.

  • Conduct regular stock takes and maintain agreed stock levels.

  • Build positive communication with residents, staff, and stakeholders.

  • Manage the catering budget and produce monthly financial performance reports.
