PSM Recruitment are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor based in Hertfordshire with extensive experience in the Construction industry.
You will be working for a H&S Consultancy specialising in Construction H&S, the company has over 30 years of experience and considerable expertise in fast-track retail refurbishments and construction-related projects, whilst offering a flexible and dynamic service to meet clients' needs.
The company has worked with leading retailers and pub operators, offering "fast-track" retail construction safety solutions based on experience, specialisation, professionalism, and practical on-site solutions. They have strategically located field-based staff across the country, ensuring nationwide coverage. This particular role is based in Hertfordshire, visiting sites 4 x per week and 1 day WFH.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Health and Safety Advisor. The Health and Safety Advisor will be motivated and driven. Responsible for health and safety compliance on construction sites, including conducting risk assessments, investigating accidents, and creating and implementing health and safety policies.
Qualifications
- Skills in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Accident Investigation
- Experience in Safety Training and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
- Good IT skills
- Full driving license
- Minimum Tech IOSH
- Willingness to travel
Salary 40,000 - 50,000 DOE
