Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager - Top 100 firm Hertford, Hertfordshire£55,000 - £65,000Butler Rose public practice are delighted to be partnering with our client, a Top 100 national firm with fantastic offices based in the historic county town of Hertford that are now eager to recruit a highly skilled and well qualified (CTA) corporate tax focused professional in the capacity of Assistant Manager or Manager. Role Requirements -

  • The role will play a key part in the team taking the lead on a variety of advisory projects as well supporting the corporate tax compliance team with complex technical queries.
  • Act as a senior technical resource for the corporate tax compliance team, providing guidance on a range of complex tax matters and ensuring high-quality delivery across the board.
  • Lead and support on a wide range of advisory assignments including restructures, group planning, transactions, international tax issues, and R&D claims.
  • Play an active role in networking, attending industry events, preparing proposals, and identifying new business opportunities both independently and in collaboration with other service lines.
  • Support and develop a growing team, acting as a mentor and technical coach. Share your expertise in corporation tax and encourage knowledge sharing across the service line.
  • Build strong client relationships, proactively responding to needs, providing timely updates, and delivering high-quality planning and advisory services.
  • Lead engagements, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate team efforts to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

Person Requirements -

  • CTA qualified with proven practical experience in corporation tax across compliance, planning and advisory working for a prominent UK based accounting firm in the capacity of Assistant Manager or Manager.
  • Proven experience of supervising, mentoring and reviewing corporate tax staff
  • Ability to develop relationships existing client clients as well as prospective ones.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
