About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage rent accounts and ensure timely collection of income.
- Proactively address arrears and negotiate repayment plans.
- Provide advice and support to tenants on welfare benefits and income maximisation.
- Prepare and present cases for legal action when necessary.
- Work closely with housing officers and external agencies to resolve complex cases.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in income management or rent collection within social housing.
- Strong knowledge of housing benefits and Universal Credit.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
- IT literate with experience using housing management systems.
