Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Hertford
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 + Benefits
A specialist engineering business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its busy delivery team in Hertford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to take ownership of large-scale projects across the UK and Europe, working within a well-established organisation known for its expertise in noise control, vibration isolation, and HVAC engineering.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from order through to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and commercial standards. The role requires excellent organisation, strong communication skills, and proven experience of managing construction-related projects, ideally within the M&E or HVAC sectors.
Benefits for the role of Project Manager include:
Salary of 45,000 - 55,000 depending on experience
25 days holiday per year (including Christmas closure)

Duties for the role of Project Manager include:
Full responsibility for project delivery from order to completion
Managing suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Overseeing design coordination and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations
Monitoring budgets, reporting risks, and driving cost efficiency
Liaising with clients and attending project meetings across the UK and Europe
Skills and experience required for the role of Project Manager:
Minimum 10 years' project management experience in construction
Background in M&E, HVAC, or large-scale contracting
Excellent organisation, leadership, and communication skills
Relevant qualifications (NVQ, Degree, SMSTS/IOSH, CSCS Manager Card)
Full UK driving licence and valid passport
