We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Despatch/Materials Operative to join our client's production team.
The role involves assisting with packing, loading, and labelling goods for dispatch, as well as unloading and loading vehicles safely.
Candidates should have experience in safe loading and unloading, with a forklift license being an advantage and a driving license being essential.
The position requires good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
The salary for this role ranges from £28,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Despatch/Materials Operative to work for a client of ours as part of the production team.

The main focus will be despatch, providing goods, packed and loaded in a compliant manner, but support in other areas may be required.

Duties Include;

Assist in packing, loading, labelling of goods in preparation for dispatch.
Unloading and loading of vehicles in a safe manner
Ensuring stock levels are maintained
Accurate record keeping
Driving forklift

The Candidate:

Ability to balance priorities and time management to work to tight deadlines.
Experience of safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
Forklift Licence is an advantage
Driving license (essential).
Good at problem solving
Able to work effectively as part of a team or on an individual basis.
Basic Microsoft Word/Excel

In return, my client will be offering a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 DOE
