Consortium are partnering exclusively with a global manufacturer who are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their expanding team. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same. What you will do:

Preparing various metals and placing into specialised holders for processing
Assembling small mechanical components ahead of processing
Programming and monitoring automated washing equipment
Organising and rotating stock, with a focus on basic stock control
Carrying out in-process and pre-inspection checks
Contributing ideas and efforts toward process improvements

What is on offer:

Salary of £24,500 - £26,000 DOE
