Consortium are partnering exclusively with a global manufacturer who are looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join their expanding team. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same. What you will do: 
  • Preparing various metals and placing into specialised holders for processing 
  • Assembling small mechanical components ahead of processing 
  • Programming and monitoring automated washing equipment 
  • Organising and rotating stock, with a focus on basic stock control 
  • Carrying out in-process and pre-inspection checks 
  • Contributing ideas and efforts toward process improvements
