Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Technician due to ongoing growth.
The role involves planned and breakdown maintenance on production machinery, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
Candidates should ideally be time served, multi-skilled with a mechanical bias, and possess previous manufacturing experience.
The position offers an excellent salary, with earnings around £45,000+ including overtime and on-call pay.
Applicants are expected to have a logical problem-solving ability and knowledge of manufacturing, with the working schedule being day shifts from 8-4 Monday-Thursday and 8-3 on Friday.

The Company

Our client is a market leading manufacturing company due to a sustained period of growth they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician.

The Role

To work on planned and breakdown maintenance on a range of machinery associated with production.
Planned preventative maintenance and breakdown work on production equipment.
To diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
To minimise any down time to production.
Working day shift. 8-4 Monday-Thursday, 8-3 Friday.
You will be on call 1/4.

The Person

You will ideally be time served.
Multi Skilled with a mechanical bias.
Logical problem solver with excellent fault-finding abilities.
Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
Have knowledge of manufacturing.
