Search are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 2 drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client based in Middleton.
Newly passed drivers will be considered for this role.
This job involves dray deliveries. This is a 24/7 operation delivering to pubs & other licensed premises. This is double manned work however, you will need to help unload the vehicle at site.
This is a full time position with a salary of 34,496.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 2 vehicles.
* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.
* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.
* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 1 (C) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.
* Physically able to help load and unload at the clients premesis
* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, as required.
