We are currently looking for a Amada brake press operator to join us in Heywood working within a growing team.
Whats included

- Hours are Monday Thursday 7am 3.30pm and Friday 7am 1pm

Your role includes:
What we are looking for:
The Press Brake and Laser Operator will be responsible for one or more of the following:
Working on one or more machines:
oGuillotine
oPress brake
oLaser Cutter
Setting, programming and operating the machines as required
Working to engineering drawings
Feeding goods, cutting and bending metal components as required
Inspecting parts
Work on mild steel and stainless steel as required
Work to specified deadlines and required quality standards
Work to the required manufacturing output
Work in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE
Minimise the amount of wastage
Notify of any shortages in regular materials used
Liaise with other teams to ensure acceptable throughput
Ensure the companys quality assurance system is adhered to
Carry out general housekeeping and clearing the workspace as required
Minimum Requirements Education and ExperienceIdeally experience in working within a machinist role
CNC Amada Press Brake setting and operating
Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings
Hard working and motivated
Keen eye for detail and able to work to deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
