Fabricator / Welder
Location: Heywood, OL10
Pay: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour
Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Friday

On behalf of our client, a specialist manufacturer based in Heywood, we are recruiting an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive pay and benefits.
Fabricator / Welder Role Overview:
You will work on the fabrication of thin gauge stainless steel (1.2mm – 3mm), supporting production and quality control within a busy manufacturing environment.
Fabricator / Welder Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure safety standards are met
- Work to production schedules while maintaining quality
- Support quality control and inspections
- Use management systems to track jobs efficiently
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Assist with other duties as required
Fabricator / Welder Requirements:
- Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience, particularly with thin gauge stainless steel
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
