We are currently recruiting to join a leading processing plant based up in the High Peak area, working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Joining a close-nit 4 man team, this role is working with in a collaborative team to ensure plant and equipment reliability across both electrical and mechanical aspects of the site. If you are quality focus with a Right First Time approach, this could be the role for you.

This role would suit a multi-skilled engineer with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Ideal candidates will be confident working with automated systems, fault finding, and performing complex repairs in a manufacturing setting. A team player with a flexible mindset and a passion for continuous improvement will thrive here. Candidates must live within a 1hr commute of site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on production equipment.
  • Conduct planned maintenance activities in collaboration with the production team.
  • Respond to and resolve safety issues and machine breakdowns efficiently.
  • Support process troubleshooting and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Working autonomously to maintain documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

The role offers an attractive package, with consists of a salary of up to 46,000, an attractive pension contribution, performance related bonus (typically 7-9%, and 25.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
