Work within dedicated specialist provisions or inclusive mainstream schools across the picturesque High Peak region. These settings are committed to providing tailored support and outstanding education for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or those requiring Alternative Provision (AP). The Role (What):
- Plan and deliver individualised lessons (PMLD, SLD, ASD, SEMH).
- Implement strategies for student progress and well-being.
- Conduct assessments to understand needs.
- Collaborate with support staff and professionals.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and highly inclusive environment.
- Contribute to EHCPs and learning plans.
What We're Looking For (Who):
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience in SEND or Alternative Provision (AP) settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of specific needs (Autism, MLD, PMLD, SEMH).
- Strong behaviour management.
- Ability to differentiate effectively.
