We are currently recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based up in the High Peak area. Working a double day's shift pattern, the roles centres around maintenance of the process wrapping and packaging machinery. The role offers a good blend of work life balance and the engineering challenge all engineers crave.
We are looking for a time served Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, who has experience in a manufacturing maintenance role. An engineer with their own tools is preferred, with experience marking out, drilling and tapping highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reactive & Planned Maintenance. Utilise SAP CMMS system for recording breakdowns, ordering of spare parts, and booking out spare parts from the technical stores. Execute planned maintenance and maintenance requests.
- Experience of working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience of working within highly automated processes
- Experience marking out, drilling and tacking
- Electrical or multi-skilled with a strong electrical bias
