A SME accountancy firm with over 50 years trading are seeking to recruit a Tax Specialist to provide a broad range of tax services for a diverse portfolio of clients including Ltd companies, business owners, sole traders, trusts and SME organisations across a variety of industries. Your role will include:
  • Manage a portfolio of SME Ltd companies, sole traders, private individual clients including HNWIs and partnerships - delivering a range of taxation services
  • Prepare and submit Tax Returns
  • Capital Gains Tax reporting for HMRC
  • Advisory work on CGT planning
  • Residence / Domicile tax planning
  • Tax advice for income from multiple sources: employment, rental properties, dividends, capital gains, pensions and overseas income
  • Self-Assessment returns
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and filings are submitted on time
  • Assist with advising clients on reducing tax liabilities including Corporation Tax and Inheritance tax
  • Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation changes
You will have a strong background in and a good knowledge of tax, ideally with a tax qualification. Most of all, you will be an excellent communicator building solid relationships with a portfolio of clients and be proactive at delivering excellent customer service and value, borne out of confident current tax knowledge, particularly with regards to personal tax matters. You will be someone who thrives with autonomy but also enjoys working within a small, close-knit team.
