Accounts Assistant
Annual Salary: £26k - £28k
Location: High Wycombe (office based with potential to be dynamic after probation)

We are seeking a Finance Assistant who is eager to learn and grow within the finance sector. This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in accountancy, strong Excel skills, and a "can-do" attitude. The successful candidate will assist in various financial tasks and contribute to our team's success.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in financial and ISO audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Manage and maintain accurate journal entries.
- Conduct stock management duties including regular stock takes.
- Handle the fixed asset module to track and manage company assets.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure timely submission.
- Input invoices accurately into the financial system.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of payment runs.
- Provide IT support related to finance systems and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A background in accountancy inc. AR/AP with a willingness to learn tasks not previously undertaken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of handling complex spreadsheets.
- Fast learner with a keen interest in finance.
- Possesses a "can-do" attitude and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
