Behaviour Support Lead - High Wycombe-Education and Training
150-200 per day (dependent on experience)

We are urgently seeking an experienced and dynamic Behaviour Support Lead to join a specialist provision in High Wycombe for a two-term role starting immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional to take on a highly influential position supporting vulnerable young people with significant behavioural and emotional needs in High Wycombe.

The right candidate will bring either Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) experience or substantial experience working with complex and challenging behaviours, alongside a proven ability to collaborate with external agencies, families, and multi-disciplinary teams. Your leadership will be central in driving forward behaviour strategies, safeguarding practices, and pastoral support for learners who need a consistent, trauma-informed approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement whole-setting behaviour support strategies
  • Provide safeguarding oversight and support; DSL experience highly beneficial
  • Work closely with external agencies to ensure holistic, coordinated intervention
  • Build strong relationships with vulnerable learners, offering stability and structure
  • Support staff to understand and respond effectively to behavioural needs
  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and therapeutic environment for all pupils
