About the Role
Our client are a well established subcontract machining specialist seeking an experienced 5-Axis CNC Setter/Operator to join our skilled team. This day shift role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment on a diverse range of production work.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate 3 and 5-axis CNC machining centres
- Work from technical drawings to produce precision components to tight tolerances
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and work-holding solutions
- Maintain machines to ensure optimal performance and housekeeping standards
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules while maintaining quality
- Troubleshoot machining issues promptly to minimise downtime and support smooth workflow across production
What We're Looking For
- Experience setting and operating 5-axis machines
- Experience working with aerospace parts working to ISO9001 standards
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and committed with good timekeeping
