About the Role:
A warm and nurturing primary school in High Wycombe is seeking an experienced and passionate Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping young learners' foundational experiences in a setting that prioritises child-led learning, creativity, and holistic development
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Support the development of each child’s early learning goals through tailored instruction and continuous provision
• Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
• Carry out regular formative assessments and maintain accurate EYFS profiles
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s values and vision
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching in an EYFS setting, particularly in Reception
• Deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• A nurturing, child-centred approach to teaching and behaviour management
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding
