Flexible start and finish times.The role:I am currently working with a specialist global supplier of handheld and bench-top optical particle test instruments for a variety of industries.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced electronically biased technician to join their team as a service technician to support in the test, service, repair, and calibration of a variety of products.The successful candidate will be working in the UK service lab in High Wycombe, and will work as part of an experienced team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the customer’s instruments on arrival into the service lab.
  • Keep records, both is SAP and other systems, of all operations carried out.
  • Carry out troubleshooting, service, repairs and calibrations to customers instruments following in-house procedures.
  • Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.

Desired experience:

  • 2+ years in the electronics service sector.
  • Experience in testing, diagnostics, trouble shooting and repair of circuit boards and complex instrumentation.
  • Ideally educated to at least a BTEC level in an electronics discipline.
