JOB TITLE:Internal Sales Coordinator

IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR:Sales & Procurement Team Leader

DIMENSIONS:

Internal sales, sourcing, purchasing and administrative functions.

KEY PURPOSE OF JOB:

Responsible for converting customer enquiries into competitive quotations through cost effective sourcing and generating subsequent sales order by close liaison with the customer.

MAIN DUTIES:

  1. Timely and competitive turnaround of enquiries to quotations for all customer enquiries.
  2. Conversion of quotations to customer orders through productive and proactive interface with the customer.
  3. Ensure all sales orders are processed ans satisfied through back-toback procurement or maximised turnover of stocked components.
  4. Ensure purchased components are made at the most competive prices and imported to the correct tariff numbers.
  5. Interface and support the external sales representative in generating additional business from Key Target Accounts and existing customers through proactive sales techniques.
  6. Comply with all the requisite procedures detailed in the Quality Assurance Manual.
  7. Maintain a comprehensive and up to date knowledge of the intergrated computer system and all computerised sourcing technology.
  8. Comply with all company procedures and requirements relevant to the performance of the job function.
  9. Liasion and co-operation with other departments to prevent or resolve customer and supplier problems.
  10. Other ad hoc duties that may reasonably be required from time to time.
